Escape to the mountains for two full days of hiking, sightseeing and exploring in the amazing natural wilderness of Yosemite National Park. Trek through Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, and the Giant Sequoias (weather permitting), and spend the night in the heart of Yosemite Valley at Yosemite Valley Lodge. Your hotel is located at the base of Yosemite Falls!

On this tour of Yosemite National Park from San Francisco, you'll have two days to explore, giving you more time and flexibility to see all the sights. Your guide stays in the hotel with the group, providing valuable knowledge of the history of Yosemite and a more personal experience of the park throughout your trip.

The two days in Yosemite National Park are divided between time in Yosemite Valley, and exploring the outlying areas of the park. In the valley, you will visit and photograph famous highlights such as Yosemite Falls (the tallest waterfall in North America), El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Fall, and Inspiration Point. Beyond the valley, you will take a trip to the awe-inspiring Glacier Point and enjoy a hike among the Giant Sequoias (weather permitting).

This tour of Yosemite arrives back in San Francisco at approximately 9:00pm on the second day. Slip away to Yosemite park for two full days of fun and exploration!

Hours of operation

Available Monday, Wednesday and Saturday during April-October. Pick-up time is between 6:00am-7:00am. (Pick-up time depends on the location of your hotel).

Location

Hotel pick-up is from centrally located hotels in San Francisco. There will be no pick-up from airport properties.

Additional Information

Please bring a small overnight bag (something that can fit under the seat), sneakers/hiking boots, hiking clothes (shorts and t-shirts), change of clothes, swimwear and towel, warm layers for night, sun protection, bug spray, water bottle and raincoat/jacket.

NOTE: Accommodations in Yosemite National Park are limited, and in very high demand! Early reservations (60 days or more in advance) are recommended in order to secure your chosen accommodation.

Cancellation: 15 days prior 50% penalty, 1 day prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

Weather permitting. Some activities are not accessible in extreme weather or due to road closures. Every attempt will be made to find comparable activities if these options are not available during your trip.

Tours may be cancelled or modified due to lack of participation, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions or road conditions.
