Breakfast and at coordinated hour, transfer and departure to the Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu, by Vistadome Class Train. The Vistadome is the ideal train for those who want to be in contact with the environment and appreciate the wonderful journey to Machu Picchu. Surrounded entirely by glass and wagons with large panoramic windows offering incomparable scenic views and innumerous opportunities to capture amazing pictures, Vistadome travelers feel connected and part of the impressive landscape of Peru. This spectacular train journey crosses valleys, mountains and typical communities with an altitude which will fall from 3,500 to 1,500 m.a.s.l. You will cross two different regions from the sierra to the rainforests, observing snow peaks, eucalyptus, deep canyons and finally orchids as you arrive.

Machu Picchu, located 112 km. from Cusco, was discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. The citadel was built on a very special spot covered in vegetation between two mountains: the Machu Picchu (old mountain) and Huayna Picchu (young mountain), at the foot of which meanders the Urubamba or Vilcanota River (lower Jungle featuring abundant flora and fauna). On arrival, Tour of one of the Seven World Wonders. At the end of your tour you will be transferred to the train station and return to the city of Cusco. Once you arrive, you will be taken to your selected hotel to spend the night.

Please be ready 15 minutes earlier at hotel’s lobby. We ask our clients to be ready with time, because your pick up will depend on the location of your hotel, so take the departure time as referential for 15 minutes more or less.

Reservations must be done sending a copy of your passport and/or ISIC Card, and presenting the originals at the beginning of the tour.

Guest is required to call our headquarters at least 48 hours ahead of the tour date to confirm their hotel information for pick up.

This tour can be adapted into an accessible tour, depending on the disability, upon request.

Tours may be cancelled if the weather makes the city tour dangerous. If we are unable to reschedule the tour, we will issue a full credit or refund.
