Winter the Dolphin Experience at Clearwater Beach

We transport you to the West Coast where you will have a packed picnic lunch to enjoy at your leisure on Clearwater Beach. Then during the day you will visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Their unique facility is home to underwater viewing windows, roofless dolphin pools, a hands-on stingray beach, and many other one-of-a-kind animal homes and exhibits that are truly different. You can also visit winter the Dolphin. Winter was rescued after having her tail caught in a crab trap line and was brought to CMA where the animal care staff and volunteers worked around the clock to rehabilitate her. After a long struggle she lost her tail, but not her spirits. Winter is an energetic dolphin that is an inspiration to all. She was fitted for a prosthetic tale and became the star of the major motion picture, Dolphin Tale. Dolphin Tale, a Warner Bros. Alcon Entertainment 3-D major motion picture was based on her life story.

You can also ride the Jolly Trolley up to Historic Clearwater Downtown where the Winters Dolphin Tail Adventure is located. This fun and educational exhibit will take you inside the movie and takes 3D to a whole new level! Inside WDTA, you'll find re-built scenes, movie images, and a variety of actual props used in Dolphin Tale.

This is a great day out to the beach and visiting the aquarium to see lots of marine life!

Personal Items: Guest should bring camera, sunscreen and beach towels. Any beach equipment required.

Upon arrival in Florida, guest must call Gray Line Orlando/Gator Tours to reconfirm the reservation and finalize the pick-up details. On the day of the tour, guest must wait at the scheduled time with your printed voucher to redeem your tour.
