Experience an exhilarating flight as you ascend out of Las Vegas, over Hoover Dam and across sections of Lake Mead. Enjoy amazing views of Temple Rock, Iceberg Canyon and Fortification Hill, an extinct volcano. Keep an eye open for wildlife along the way as big horn sheep, mountain lions and wild horses roam freely. You will then fly through the Grand Canyon to descend and land 3,500 feet below the rim on Hualapai Indian territory and Maverick’s private landing area. Champagne, beverages and a light snack will be served some 300 feet above the mighty Colorado River. While flying back through the Grand Canyon, you will observe the stunning red rock formations of the Bowl of Fire and Wild Pinto Wash. Conclude your adventure with a breathtaking flight over the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas.

Inclusion

Pilot narration and in-flight GPS-based narration system. Languages include: Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, German, English, and Russian.

Hours of operation

Available daily departure times include 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm & 4:00pm, but vary by day and availability.

Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended. Bring camera and sunscreen.

Participant restrictions

Children over 2 years of age will be required to purchase a seat.

Maximum weight limit is 300 lbs.

Passengers weighing over 300 lbs. will be required to purchase an additional seat (surcharge for Comfort Seating).

7 passengers per helicopter 1,240 lbs max.

Policies

Cancellation: 2 days prior 100% penalty. No Show always 100% penalty.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been banned from all flights per the FAA. Guests who own this model must leave their phones in their hotel room as Maverick will not be responsible for storing phones.

ALL passengers, age 18 and older, must have a valid and current government-issued driver’s license or passport picture ID in order to board their airline tour experience. No photocopies are allowed. Without proper photographic identification, the passengers will not be allowed fly.

Due to a newly confirmed visit by the President of the United States to Las Vegas on November 1st 2016, we will have restricted air space. We will not be able to offer the following flights, and some flights will have limited availability. Maverick Helicopters (Wind Dancer at 7:00am, 8:00am, 10:00am, and 11:00 am ONLY. We recommend contacting Maverick to inquire about the flights just mentioned.)
