The intention of this tour is not only to visit the one of most important football stadium in Argentina, but also to know its story and the way they grew through time in parallel to Argentinean history. After this tour you will understand why football is so important for Argentineans. We will get to see the most important football stadiums in Argentina, La Bombonera and El Monumental.

Itinerary

Located in the southern neighborhoods we will make our way to the legendary Boca Juniors stadium: La Bombonera. Passing through the neighborhood of Boca you’ll notice that the passion for football pulses down every street.

Inside La Bombonera we will visit the best seats in the stadium. This popular terrace holds the now mythical #12 jersey. We will get to tour the Boca Juniors locker room and finish with Diego Maradona’s Box.

After that we will visit the “Museo de la Pasión Boquense” (Boca’s Museum). It is here that we will get to learn about all of the players that have played for the club, about the history and evolution of the jersey, and visit the trophy room. After which we are treated to a film that will give us the perspective of a Boca player when they go out to the pitch. No tour of La Bombonera would be complete without learning the story behind the aforementioned #12 jersey, as well as the jerseys of two of the most important football players in the world, both of which have played in that stadium.

We will then go to the northern residential neighborhood of Nuñez where El Monumental stadium is located. We will visit the stadium before heading to the River Plate museum which is one of the biggest and most modern museums of this kind. It tells the story of River Plate with its idols, photographs, uniforms, trophys and much more!

Return to downtown Buenos Aires.
