The Splash Pad: A rainforest themed, zero-depth water play area featuring all new water elements including water dump buckets, spray zones and a designated water play area for toddlers.

Exhibits: From playful river otters to intimidating sharks, there are more than 7,000 aquatic animals and plants to see during a visit to the Aquarium. Touch a stingray at Stingray Beach or a sea star in the No Bone Zone.

Shows: An assortment of entertaining and educational shows are offered during the day including some from underwater! Listen to scuba divers talk about the importance of coral reefs while surrounded by really big sharks! Come face-to-beak with endangered penguins during daily Penguin Promenades.

Transportation to and from the Aquarium.

Hours of operation

The Florida Aquarium is open daily from 9:30am to 5:00pm.

Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Florida Aquarium, 701 Channelside Drive, Tampa, Florida 33602.

Parking: Official Aquarium parking is located 1 block north of the Aquarium at a surface lot on the corner of Channelside Drive and York Street. The cost is $6.00 per vehicle.
