Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo:

Come see the wild world of Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. With more than 1,500 animals, housed in 56 acres of lush natural habitats, it's a diverse collection that is suited for our local climate.

With engaging interactive exhibits visitors can enjoy close, but safe contact with many species in the Zoo. Guests can see most animals in one of eight habitat areas. After your virtual safari, make sure you come to visit Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo!

The Zoo offers a hands-on and educational experience with our interactive exhibits and habitats.

The Zoo has several fun rides, for all ages, to enhance your Zoo visit. Splash down on the Gator Falls flume ride, catch a wild ride on the Tasmanian Tiger Family Coaster or bump, splash and spin on the all new Outback Bumper Boats!

The Zoo offers two exciting water play areas designed to help your little ones cool off during your day at the Zoo.

The Zoo offers many opportunities to get up-close and learn about animals. Part of our mission is education about the natural world and we offer that opportunity on a daily basis through our programs. Zoo Keepers hold fun lectures about the animals and their behaviors and also what it's like to be a Zoo Keeper.

Florida Aquarium:

Explore A Shore - The Florida Aquarium's 2-acre outdoor water adventure zone lets the kids cool off while parents relax under the shade of the Cantina bar and grill. Water cannons, geysers and a climbing pirate ship adventure await children of all ages!

Exhibits - From playful river otters to intimidating sharks, there are more than 20,000 aquatic animals and plants to see during a visit to the Aquarium. Touch a bamboo shark in the lobby touch tank or a sea star in the No Bone Zone on the 2nd floor.

Shows - An assortment of entertaining and educational shows are offered during the day including some from underwater! Listen to scuba divers talk about the importance of coral reefs while surrounded by really big sharks! Come face-to-beak with endangered penguins during daily Penguin Promenades.

Take a Virtual Tour: Start with Wetlands under the impressive glass dome, then enter Bays & Beaches where colorful fish and stingrays live in the shallow coastal waters. Next dive in to the Coral Reef gallery and explore an undersea kaleidoscope of fish. Finally, feel the energy of Ocean Commotion!

Museum of Science and Industry:

Experience a scientific playground of over 450 hands-on activities in the largest science center in the southeastern United States!

MOSI offers over 400,000 square feet of permanent interactive exhibits.

At MOSI, Visitors can: Learn through play inside Kids In Charge!, the largest children’s science center in the nation. Also be sure to check out MISSION: Moonbase (located inside Kids In Charge!) where you can experience life inside a lunar colony.

Brave extreme weather conditions inside Disasterville, featuring WeatherQuest—a 10,000 square foot exhibition on the science behind tornados, hurricanes, wildfires and much more!

Guests can harness themselves onto a bicycle along a 98-foot-long steel cable, suspended 30 feet above ground on MOSI’s High Wire Bike, the longest in a U.S. museum.

Challenge your sense of adventure by walking on the wild side at the new Sky Trail® Ropes Course.

Enter into an engineered ecosystem in the BioWorks Butterfly Garden and view multiple kinds of free-flying butterflies.

Learn about the human body in all its complexity, from DNA to organs in The Amazing You, an Exhibition of the Human Body.

Take in an astronomy show in The Saunders Planetarium and gaze into the starry nighttime sky.

Plus, visit Florida's only IMAX® Dome Theatre. The IMAX® Dome motion picture system projects images of unsurpassed size, clarity and impact onto a dome shaped screen providing 10,500 square feet of visual imagery.

Hours of operation

Florida Aquarium is open daily from 9:30am to 5:00pm.

Museum of Science and Industry is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is open daily from 9:30am to 5:00pm.

Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Policies

Cancellation: Unredeemed vouchers are fully refundable.

No outside food or beverages may be brought into the Zoo. You may however, receive a hand stamp for re-entry and picnic at one of the surrounding park areas.

Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times. Roller skate shoes may not be used inside the Zoo.

No pets are allowed inside the Zoo. Trained service animals are permitted inside the Zoo. The Zoo does not offer pet boarding facilities.

For the safety and courtesy of our guests and animals, smoking is only permitted in designated areas. Please consult your Zoo guide map for smoking locations.
