Grommets Snowboard Lesson (Ages 5-7):

With a small child to teacher ratio, our snowboard instructors will get this age group moving on their boards by using appropriate terrain and games. Groups will focus on slope etiquette, equipment knowledge and of course FUN! The Grommets will start in our beginner backyard or on our Magic Carpets. Children who are ready will explore the mountain accordingly. The Full Day Session includes several hours of on snow instruction and a lunch break. Please remember to pack a snack in your child's pocket.

Please keep in mind that the Grommets Snowboard Program is a physically demanding program and your child must be willing to ride. Extra breaks will be given in the afternoon if needed.

Jibbers Snowboard Lesson (Ages 8-13):

Squaw Kids and Alpine Kids offers first time through advanced snowboard lessons. Along with acquiring new skills, groups will learn slope etiquette, equipment knowledge, and a few tricks along the way! The Jibbers will start at the base of the mountain and move to appropriate terrain. The full day session includes several hours of on snow instruction and a lunch break. Please remember to pack a snack in your child's pocket.

Inclusion

Equipment rental; A beginner terrain lift ticket; An introductory group lesson; Lunch.

Exclusion

Transportation to and from Kids Camp; Gratuity.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily, November 26 - April 24; Lessons are scheduled for 10:00am. Check in time is 8:30am - 9:15am. Season dates are dependent on the weather.

Location

Kids lessons check in at Squaw Kids or Alpine Meadows Kids Camp.

Located off Highway 89, between Truckee and Tahoe City, on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.

Participant restrictions

Level: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced; Ages 5-13.
