Each Mount Vernon cruise includes a narrated riverfront tour and discounted admission to Mount Vernon. You can also choose from one-way excursions and 40-minute turnaround cruises from the Mount Vernon dock.

Inclusion

Potomac River cruise to Mount Vernon; Narrated tour of Potomac River; Admission to Mount Vernon Estate (approx. 4-hour self-guided tour and free time).

Exclusion

Transportation to/from the pier. Food is not included in the rate but you can purchase breakfast or lunch items from our fully-stocked snack bar.

Cruising Schedule

SW Waterfront Boarding Time: 8:00am

SW Waterfront Departure: 8:30am

Arrival at Mount Vernon: 10:00am

Return Boarding: 1:15pm

Return Departure: 1:30pm

Arrival at SW Waterfront: 3:00pm

On the day of your cruise, please check in at the ticket booth at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

The ship is fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort and cruises rain or shine.

Participant restrictions

Children of all ages are welcome on our Mount Vernon Cruise. Children under 3 are complimentary and a discount is offered between the ages of 3 and 12.

Policies

Dress Code: Casual attire is fine. A good pair of walking shoes is recommended for the Mount Vernon portion of the tour.

Rates may not apply for holiday and specialty cruises and are subject to change.

The vessel is wheelchair accessible. However, you must inform the supplier of your specific needs at time of reservations.

*Cruise schedules change often. Guests will receive sail time upon final confirmation.

Cancellation: 3 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.
