The Fresh-Tracks Cruiser is specially designed for first-time riders. We will introduce you to the sport of snowmobiling in a safe, exciting and informative environment. Once you have completed your orientation, your guide will lead you on

a journey through magnificent terrain including old growth forests, breathtaking views and the thrill of riding on frozen lakes. This tour stops at our backcountry yurt for a fresh morning pastry and hot drink.

Inclusion

Winter boots, helmet, goggles, some outerwear if required; Fresh morning pastry and hot drink. Tours are presented in English.

Exclusion

Hotel pick-up and drop-off; Taxes; Gratuities; Accidental Damage Insurance $20 per driver.

Hours of operation

Available daily, December 16 - April 30 (subject to snow conditions), departing at 8:30am. Check-in 15-­20 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.

Duration

2.5 hours (round trip) with approximately 1.75 hours ride time.

Location

Meet at one of our TWO locations: Main TAG office located in Mountain Square right beside the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or Fairmont Chateau Whistler The Adventure Group desk – located downstairs near Portobello restaurant.

Additional Information

Rating: Beginner / Easiest Terrain.

Guest to Guide ratio: 1 guide per 5 machines.

Suggested Clothing: Wear the same clothing as if you were going skiing. It is recommended that guests dress in layers and bring a warm hat, gloves and sunglasses or goggles as well as warm boots. Waterproof outer layer, gloves, goggles provided if needed.

Participant restrictions

Children 12 and under are free when riding with an adult driver.

Driver must be 16 years old, with a valid driver’s license.

Children must be 4 feet tall, able to hang on to an adult and fit our smallest helmet (which is located in our office for them to try).

Policies

Cancellation: 1 day prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

Minimum To Run Tour: 1 machine required with 2 guests for tour to run.

Maximum: 25 single riders, 50 with double riders.

Subject to snow conditions.

Guide Gratuity: A $30 gratuity per guide is suggested, plus one $30 gratuity for each base manager working during the tour (usually one per activity).

Accidental Damage Insurance must be purchased on location per driver - $20.
