Go where the Hawaiian sharks are, in their element. Step into the water with only a wire mesh between you and those spectacular animals. Venture in for a very personal, extremely up close encounter with the most feared and misunderstood predators on the planet in nearly 300,000 gallons of tropical water. A special helmet will enable guests to have a crystal clear view with the fascinating marine life that resides in our private reef.

Deep water encounter with our sharks:

*Wear the Shark Trek helmet and descend to 17 feet into the reef tank.

*Feed reef fish (not sharks).

*Learn about sharks, anatomy, behavior.

*Learn about reef fish, anatomy, behavior.

*Ask questions and listen to answers with the two-way communication system.

Inclusion

Transportation from select hotels in Waikiki; 1 day admission; State tax.

Exclusion

Photos with your dolphin are available for purchase weather permitting.

Hours of operation

Available daily at 10:00am, 11:00am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm.

Park Hours: Open daily from 9:30am-4:00pm.

Duration

Approximately 45 minutes, water time 20 minutes.

Additional Information

Participants for all programs recommended to bring a swimsuit & towel.

Use only biodegradable sun lotion to protect the animals and their environment.

Lockers are available for rent @ $3.00.

Participant restrictions

Participants must be at least 8 years of age or older.

Each child, 8 – 12 years, must be accompanied by a paying adult over 18 years (one adult/one child).

Must be able to wear the special helmet and equalize ear pressure under the water.

Guest must be in good physical condition.

Guests with heart or lung problems, on medication, having breathing ailments, or who have had an alcoholic beverage, should not dive.

Pregnant women not allowed to participate.

Policies

Cancellation: 2 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

The use of safety vests is required for all Sea Life Park Hawaii water programs.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of your reserved program at Sea Life Park Hawaii.

Program capacity is 4 guests.
