Sea Lion Encounter

Guests receive a unique opportunity to swim with a Sea Lion in a playful, educational, and interactive atmosphere. Guests will be able to stroke a sea lion as they swim underwater followed by a performance and kiss! Act as a trainer and learn to communicate with the fun and affectionate creature using hand signals as they entertain you!

Inclusion

Transportation from select hotels in Waikiki; 1 day admission; State tax.

Experience the sea lion encounter: Touch the sea lion; Feed the sea lion; Kiss picture with the sea lion; Hug picture with the sea lion; Enter the water with the sea lion; Cradle picture with the sea lion; Learn about sea lion training; Learn behavioral commands.

Exclusion

Photos with your dolphin are available for purchase weather permitting.

Hours of operation

Available daily at 10:00am and 11:30am.

Park Hours: Open daily from 9:30am-4:00pm.

Approximately 45 minutes (including orientation), water time 30 minutes.

Additional Information

Participants for all programs recommended to bring a swimsuit & towel.

Use only biodegradable sun lotion to protect the animals and their environment.

Lockers are available for rent @ $3.00

Participant restrictions

Participants must be at least 8 years of age or older.

Minimum height for this activity: 40" tall.

Participants 8 to 12 must be accompanied with a paying adult in the water.

Guest must be in good physical condition.

Women who are pregnant or suspect they may be pregnant are NOT permitted to participate.

Policies

Cancellation: 2 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

The use of safety vests is required for all Sea Life Park Hawaii water programs.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of your reserved program at Sea Life Park Hawaii.

Program capacity is 8 guests.
