Follow the history of witches, witchcraft and witch hunts through the ages. Our main presentation is an overview of the events of the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Witches - Evolving Perceptions is a provocative exhibit which presents the ancient pagan wise woman, the stereotypical witch, modern witchcraft and the phenomenon of witch hunts. Do you believe in witches? Don't answer until you visit us.
Inclusion
Museum entrance.
A half hour audio / visual overview regarding the witch trials of 1692, and a fifteen minute guided tour regarding the history of witches, witchcraft and witch hunts.
Price includes both exhibits.

Hotel pick-up/drop-off, Food, beverage and Gratuity.
Hours of operation
Open year round. 10:00am - 5:00pm. July and August 10:00am - 7:00pm. Extended hours in the month of October. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Additional Information
Presentations start every half hour from 10:00am to 5:00pm from September through June. 10:00am to 7:00pm during July and August with extended hours during the month of October. Last presentation of the day starts 30 minutes prior to closing.
Location
19 1/2 Washington Square North, Salem, MA 01970. The museum is on route 1A - diagonally across from the Common in downtown Salem.
