Once the heart of little Japantown this up-and-coming downtown area is filled with design shops, converted warehouses, and new restaurants and cafes. On this culinary journey we visit five of the best East side trendy hot spots including the city’s only urban winery located in an old steel factory!

Enjoy our sightseeing tour of historic Japantown, Vancouver’s only urban winery, 9+ samples of delicious bites including 2 wine samples and a local craft beer, and make a stop at a unique culinary school.

Available: Thursday and Friday; Departs at 1:30pm.

Approximately 2 hours.

Location

We meet at the HAVE Café (374 Powell Street). The tour ends at the Cadeaux Bakery (72 Powell Street).

Additional Information

This tour has a moderate amount of walking (roughly 1.6km / 1 mile). Tour runs regardless of weather. Please dress appropriately.

Participant restrictions

There is an alcohol sample on this tour. The tours are suitable for all ages but for those wanting to participate in the alcohol samples, they must bring appropriate ID. We are not responsible if they are denied the sample due to lack of ID. A non-alcoholic substitute will be provided for guests that do not want the alcohol sample or for those that are not at least 19 years old.

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the departure location.
