Itinerary

Day 1: LIMA.

Welcome to Peru. Arrival and reception at the airport. Transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, city tour including: the Main Square with a panoramic view of the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, and visit to the church of San Francisco and its subterranean tombs. Then, panoramic view of the districts of San Isidro (the financial center of the city) and the tourist district of Miraflores with its beautiful parks and the Pacific Ocean view. Return to hotel. Day 2: LIMA / CUSCO.

In the morning, transfer to airport for flying to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, city tour including: the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral, the archaeological remains of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Return to hotel. Accommodation. Meals: (B/-/-)

Day 3: CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO.

In the morning, transfer to train station for going to Machu Picchu by Expedition service. After 3 hours approximately, arrival to Aguas Calientes and bus up to the citadel. Arrival and beginning of the excursion. Lunch (not included). In the afternoon, journey back to Cusco by train. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Accommodation. Meals: (B/-/-)

Day 4: CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY / CUSCO.

In the morning, start of the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas appreciating the beauty of the place, including a visit to the village and traditional market of Pisac. Lunch buffet in Urubamba. The tour continues to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo where we will walk through the terraces to the top of the archaeological site. Return to Cusco, a brief visit to the village and traditional market of Chinchero. Return to hotel. Accommodation. Meals: (B/L/-)

Day 5: CUSCO / LIMA.

In the morning, transfer to airport for flying back to Lima to take the international connection. Meals: Breakfast.
