Itinerary

Day 1: MUSCAT - SUR - RAS AL HAD.

We will start start the tour by travelling through the Hajar Mountains to the township of Sur, a coastal city where the famous wooden traditional DHOWs are being built. We will pass by the village of Quriyat. On arrival in Sur, orientation tour of the city, visit the BILAD castle, lunch in the city before you head to the city of Ras Al Had, home of the turtles in OMAN. Check in the hotel and after dinner, you will head to the Turtle reserve to observe the turtles in the middle of the night.

Day 2: RAS AL HAD - MUSCAT.

Next morning after an enjoyable breakfast we will enjoy the surrounding before we start our route back to Muscat. Picnic lunch in Wadi Shab. We will also pass by the beautiful Finn’s Beach and Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom before arriving to Muscat in the afternoon. (approximately 300km)
