Additional Information

Dress as you would normally. Wear layers. It can be quite cool in the early

morning and can quickly heat up as the sun rises higher. Wear comfortable and sensible footwear. The fields can be quite rough and appropriate footwear will make your flight more comfortable. No open toed shoes, heels or sandals please. As you will be climbing in to and out of the basket, we suggest you wear comfortable, casual clothing.

Participant restrictions

In order to fly, passengers MUST be in good physical condition. All passengers must be able to climb in and out of the basket, stand for the entire flight and walk out of a field if necessary. We cannot fly any passenger who has had recent surgery, injuries, hip, back, or knee problems, health concerns, physical limitations, is/or may be pregnant or has severe auditory restrictions.

MAXIMUM individual passenger weight is 280 pounds/127 Kilograms/20 Stone. Guest weight is required at time of booking. Weight MUST be accurate to within 10 pounds.*

Children must be a minimum of 6 years of age and any passenger under the age of

17 must accompanied by an adult.

Policies

Cancellation: 3 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

All flight times are approximate and subject to change due to weather conditions and weight restrictions.

Flights are weather dependent - Ballooning is extremely weather dependent. We require less than 8 knots of wind, in addition to no impending storms. Safety is our number one priority. Orlando Balloon Rides reserves the right to cancel a flight due to weather conditions or other safety reasons that could affect the safety of the flight.

*Weight MUST be accurate to within 10 pounds. This is a matter of aircraft safety. Our pilot must accurately calculate weight and balance to ensure the safety of all passengers.

To check the flight status of your upcoming flight you must call our flight line after 8:00pm the evening before your flight. It is imperative that you phone the flight line number prior to arriving at our meeting location, or being picked up from your hotel - we don’t want you to miss your flight or waste your time if the conditions are not suitable for ballooning.

Your safety is our main concern. If you are concerned with health or safety issues, please consult with your physician or call our office to discuss the individual situation.
