Beyond the rhythms of Beale Street’s blues lies a darker history of vice, voodoo, phantoms, ghosts and lost souls. In addition to tales of some of the city’s most famous ghosts (such as Mary of the Orpheum Theater), this walking tour includes admission into the notorious Ernestine & Hazel’s, a former brothel recently recognized as one of the most haunted buildings in America.

Tour Departures:

February: Saturdays at 8:00pm.

March – May: Daily at 8:00pm.

June – August: Daily at 8:30pm.

September-October: Daily at 8:00pm.

November: Friday & Saturday at 8:00pm.

Tour is approximately 2 hours.

Location

Tour departs from the Backbeat Tours ticket counter at BB King’s Blues Club (143 Beale Street).
