This is a perfect choice for first time snorkelers; you will have the opportunity to swim in the waters of an underground cavern, admire hundreds of ancient geological formations, such as stalactites and stalagmites. The underwater reflectors and the diving lights, help you explore the depths of Xilbabá – the mythical underworld God of the Mayan culture. The “Cenote” (or sinkhole), cave little animals will allow you to see tiny creatures that are able to survive without sunlight or plants.

Participant restrictions

This tour is not suitable for people with severe physical and mental handicaps, or those with back problems or history of seizures.

It is not suggested for oversized people (over 264 pounds) or people who are not able to handle physical activity.

It is definitely not recommended for pregnant women.

Children must be at least 4 feet tall height to participate in this activity.

Children under the age of 12 years will need to be supervised by a paying adult during this activity.

People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate in this expedition.

Additional Information

Bring your bathing suit, towels, sunglasses, biodegradable sun screen, mosquito repellent, hat, underwater camera and cash.
