Kidding Around in Savannah

For those young at heart whose interests includes learning more about Savannah’s rich and varied history, "Kidding Around" is a great way to gain a unique perspective on how it all came about. You will enjoy learning about the colorful role the city played in establishing our great county. You can visit the Savannah History Museum that chronicles the city’s history from 1733 and the Roundhouse Railroad Museum showcasing the importance of the locomotive in our history.

You will learn how Old Fort Jackson was built to sustain the War of 1812 and why Juliette Gordon Lowe’s creation of the Girl Scouts was so important in reinforcing our country’s values. You can choose to visit the Whistle Stop Restaurant and take the amazing Dolphin Magic Tour.
