With stunning views, guided tours, Zip Line tours, a visitor center and cafe, Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures is a great day out for families, couples or groups of friends.

The Treetop Walk:

Take a walk through the treetops on our Treetop Walk. The Treetop Walk is a 1.5km walk through beautiful warm temperate rainforest with 500 meters of steel walkway nestled in the treetop canopy some 20-30 meters above the ground.

The walkway culminates in Knights Tower, a spiral tower that rises to a breathtaking 45 meters above the forest floor. Then there’s the thrills and challenges of two confronting swaying springboard cantilevers suspended 25 meters above the forest floor which take guests to the edge of the escarpment.

Fun Facts:

The Treetop Walk can withstand winds of up to 280kmh, is 472 meters long, has an average height of 710 meters above sea level and weighs over 160 tons, the equivalent of a Blue Whale!

The Treetop Walk has a soft environmental footprint. It was built on an existing fire trail resulting in no trees being cut down during construction.

The Treetop Walk was built in 6 months by 6 men!

The Zip Line Tour:

Our all-new Zip Line Tour is a unique eco-wilderness adventure that takes place in the magnificent Southern Highlands rainforest. Officially the highest zip line tour in Australia, the Illawarra Fly Zip Line Tour involves flying on a series of elevated cable spans and navigating suspension bridges from one tree platform to another 35 meters above the forest floor.

Participants will soar through the trees and learn about our growing and vibrant forest whilst capturing unparalleled views of everything from the forest floor, into the canopy and a glimpse out to the Pacific Ocean. This exciting adventure is guided by trained and experienced zip line tour guides who control all departures and arrivals.

Transportation to and from the attraction; Zip Line Tour (With entry only ticket).

Hours of operation

Available daily, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Last entry at 4:15pm. Closed: December 25.

Duration

Approximately 2.5 hours, including a 15 minute safety briefing and self-guided Treetop Walk before or after your Zip Line Tour.

Illawarra Fly (Southern Highlands) is located at Jamberoo Mountain Road, Knights Hill NSW 2577, Australia; on the South Coast on NSW, about 1.5 hours drive south of Sydney.

Policies

Zip Line Tour is only included with the Zip Line Tour Ticket. Entry Only ticket does NOT include the Zip Line Tour.

We are open rain, hail or shine. However, we do monitor our wind speeds and lightning activity to ensure guest safety. If your Zip Line is cancelled we will endeavor to reschedule for a day with more Zip Line friendly weather.

Vouchers are valid for redemption up to 3 months after purchase.
