Pass through quaint villages and roadside stalls selling the freshest fruit on the way to the wilderness that is the Huon Valley. Trek through the treetops of the lush forest over the Huon River where the lookout at the end is truly breathtaking. If you dare there are also suspension bridges over the Picton and Huon Rivers to cross. After your rainforest walk, quench your thirst with some of Australia's finest ciders at Willie Smith's located in the Apple Shed - a museum dedicated to Tasmania's rich apple farming culture.

Walk high above the forest canopy at the Tahune Airwalk.
The walkway ends at a spectacular cantilevered platform, 50 meters above the riverbank with views of mountains and the Tasmania Wilderness World Heritage Area
Unique Tasmanian timbers, cool temperature rainforests and wild rivers.
Follow forest and riverside tracks crossing two suspension bridges over the rushing waters over the Picton and Huon Rivers.
Walk under tall tree fern canopies and alongside the tannin colored Huon River.
Our last stop is Willie Smith's Cider and Apple Shed.
Learn the history of the apple orchards, once an important industry of the region (option to taste produce at own cost).

Available Monday departing at 8:15am from October to April and departing at 9:15am from May to September. No tour departures on December 25.

Participant restrictions
Any child under the minimum child age will travel free of charge and they will have to sit on their parents lap, if you prefer that the child has their own seat then you will have to pay the child fare.
