On this faster-paced tour you can progress into more exciting terrain and tighter trails. Explore frozen lakes or visit Whistler's Ancient Cedar Forest on your way to our backcountry yurt. Once at the yurt you'll enjoy a fresh cinnamon bun and hot apple cider/coffee.
Inclusion
Winter boots, Helmet, goggles, some outerwear if required; Fresh morning pastry and hot beverages.
Exclusion
Hotel pick-up and drop-off; Gratuities; Accidental collision coverage are additional.
Hours of operation
Available: Daily, December 12 - April 30; Departs at 9:30am.
Duration
Approximately 2.5 hours (round trip) with approximately 1.75 hours ride time.
Location
Meet at one of our TWO locations: Main TAG office located in Mountain Square (next to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory) or Fairmont Chateau Whistler The Adventure Group desk (located downstairs near Portobello restaurant).
Additional Information
Rating: Intermediate Terrain.
Suggested Clothing: Same clothing as if you were going skiing. Comfortable clothing for the day including a warm shirt/outer layer. Boots recommended. Boots, outerwear and goggles can be provided free of charge.
Participant restrictions
Children under 12 are free when riding with an adult driver.
Guests should have some previous Snowmobile, ATV or Personal Watercraft (Jet-ski) experience.
Driver must be 16 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Children must be 4 feet tall, able to hang on to an adult and fit our smallest helmet (which is located in our office for them to try).
Policies
This tour has a minimum of 2 machines required for tour to run.
Subject to snow conditions.
Check-in 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.
Guide Gratuity: A $30 gratuity per guide is suggested, plus one $30 gratuity for each base manager working during the tour (usually one per activity).
Accidental Damage Insurance must be purchased on location per driver - $20.
