Only available from our Fox Glacier flight center, explore the majestic Fox Glacier before flying by the sheer west faces of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman. A snow landing provides opportunities to photograph the magnificent scenery.

Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park reaches a towering 3754m at the summit and covers an astounding 70,728 hectares. The safest and most enjoyable way to appreciate this spectacular rugged beauty is via a helicopter flight.

Inclusion

30 minutes flight, Mount Cook & Fox Glacier with Snow landing.

Exclusion

Transportation to and from the flight office.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily; Departs every 30 minutes from 9:00am to 4:00pm (last departure).

We will endeavour to confirm the nearest available time. The actual departure time will be confirmed to you.

Check in time is 20 minutes before departure at the appropriate flight office.

Location

Fox Glacier Flight Office - based in the Alpine Guides Building on the Main Road, Fox Glacier. Free courtesy transfer is provided to the helipad that is approximately 1km from the flight office.

Additional Information

Clients should bring camera, sunglasses, covered in shoes (Trainers or Sneakers are ok, also Hiking boots if clients desire) and appropriate clothing – check with us before reporting time for appropriate clothing as it is subject to weather conditions on the day.
