Leaving Barcelona behind, discover Costa Brava, an area considered the best destination in 2012 by National Geographic. Hike with your expert guide along the rocky coast of the Nature Park, while he shares with you stories about Mediterranean life, the flora and fauna along the way and he introduces you to fishermen living in the area. You will also uncover the secrets of the historical “Camí de Ronda” path. “Camí de Ronda” were footpaths used by pirates, smugglers and local forces to control the coast. So, walk this old paths and uncover impressive pine forests next to the sea, cliffs of the Mediterranean coast and the most beautiful natural bays of Costa Brava (spots only reachable on foot).

Later on, visit Far Sant Sebastià lighthouse (located next to hidden old iberian ruins), from where you will admire the breathtaking sea views and see amazing cliffs. The tour continues in Calella de Palafrugell. This delightful town has houses that reach right down to the sea front. Explore the village or enjoy the beautiful cliff-top botanic gardens at Cap Roig. Calella de Palafrugell is also the perfect place for a leisurely lunch in any of the traditional restaurants. So the best place to enjoy an authentic paella.

The tour is approximately 8 hours and 30 minutes.

Location

Tour begins and ends in Central Barcelona, at Plaça de l’Ossa Menor at Glories shopping Center (next to the shopping center information office and next to the Starbucks café). There’s no LIVING IT office there, it is only the departure point.

Additional Information

Please, bring sun protection during summer season. Please bring suitable clothing and comfortable footwear. During summer season, we will have the opportunity to go into the sea, so bring the Swimming suit. Please bring drinking water (minimum 0,5 liters/person).
