Our Day Bike Tour is the perfect tour for both those new to the city and those locals looking to experience Washington, DC with minimal effort. For the newbies to DC, this tour will offer you a fantastic orientation and give you an opportunity to see virtually all of the sites you’ve read about. For the veterans and locals, we’re positive you’ll learn new facts and stories about Washington that you’ve never heard. And we’re sure you’ll both agree that two wheels is the best way to see the ‘Capital City’.

Points of interest: The White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, United States Capitol, Smithsonian Castle, Korean war Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, also! See the WWII Memorial, Pennsylvania Avenue, The Jefferson Memorial, Old Executive Office Building, The National Mall and more.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily; Departs at 9:30am (March-November only) and 1:30pm (year round). No tour departures on: January 1; July 4; November 27; December 25.

Location

Tour departs from 502 23rd Street, NW, Washington, DC 20037.

Metro: We are just off the Foggy Bottom Metro. Simply take a right at the top of the escalator and walk down 23rd Street, roughly 4 blocks. Once you pass Virginia Avenue, we'll be on the right side.

Participant restrictions

Children ages 3 and younger are free.

Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate.

Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or authorized guardian on tour.

Policies

Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride, and will not be refunded.

Insurance requires that Capital City Bike Tours/Bullfrog Bike Tours pre-authorize $500 on a credit card. Please have clients bring any credit card with them for this deposit. Each member of the party will be required to complete and sign a liability waiver form.
