Highlights / General details
A true New York City institution, Chicago has everything that makes Broadway great! A universal tale of fame, fortune and all that jazz; one show-stopping-song after another; and the most astonishing dancing you've ever seen.
Set in the 1920s, Chicago is a scathing satire of how show business and the media make celebrities out of criminals. As many of you know already, it has Bob Fosse-inspired choreography, skimpy outfits and killer songs such as "All That Jazz," ''Cell Block Tango" and "Mr. Cellophane."
Jaime Camil will be channeling his sleazy lawyer side on Broadway. The "Jane the Virgin" star will play Billy Flynn in the record-breaking musical Chicago starting May 31. Flynn has been played by the likes of Patrick Swayze, Jerry Springer, Wayne Brady, Tom Wopat, Tony Yazbeck, Harry Hamlin and Billy Ray Cyrus. And now Jaime Camil will join this distinguished list.
