Let Catalina Express whisk you away to Catalina Island and the beautiful city of Avalon, a Mediterranean-like town just 22 miles off the coastline of Southern California. Starting from Anaheim, enjoy a narrated driving tour of Long Beach along our sparkling coast with a photo stop at the Queen Mary. Then, travel across the sea in comfort aboard the Catalina Express, the fastest state-of-the-art passenger vessel. In about an hour, you can be shopping in Catalina’s Island quaint shops, dining at seaside restaurants, snorkeling, bicycling or just relaxing on the beach.

Hours of operation

Available: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (April-September); Hotel pick up approximately 8:00am–8:30am. Tour does not operate April 17, 2016 due to the Long Beach Grand Prix.

Tour is approximately 10 hours. Time may vary.

Tour departs from Long Beach Port.

Itinerary

Departs at 10:00am from the Long Beach Port and arrives at Catalina Island approximately 11:00am.

Departure from Avalon is at 3:45pm for an approximate return to Long Beach at 6:00pm.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we are proud to offer wheelchair-accessible coaches upon request. Please phone Southern California Gray Line 48 hours prior to your preferred date of travel in order to confirm. Maximum weight including chair: 600lbs.

Policies

Additional fee: Infants under 2 years of age a $5 fee will be charged at the boat Terminal.

Please arrive at the pick-up location at least 5 minutes prior to departure time.

You must contact Southern California Gray Line at least 48 hours prior to your tour/activity date to verify your pick-up time and pick-up location.
