Visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post situated in the rural community of Joy, Alaska. Experience the mighty Yukon River. Marvel at the majestic beauty of the northland’s most famous waterway and learn of the river’s storied past. Explore up close the amazing arctic tundra and feel the veins of ice just beneath the surface. Cross the Arctic Circle in ceremonious fashion and receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure® Certificate. Return to Fairbanks by plane. (1 pm departure is the reverse of the above beginning with a flight from Fairbanks to Coldfoot and a return ground tour).

Departs 5:30am and 1:00pm.

Summer Schedule:

Departs daily at 5:30am.

May 22 – August 20

Departs daily at 1:00pm.

Since travel in Alaska’s Arctic can be unpredictable so can departure times.

There is a minimum of 4 passengers per trip.
