Departure from La Paz, crossing the highlands towards north and parallel to the Royal Andes Range. Reaching the lake with great landscapes, until Copacabana (3-4 hours), a pleasant town in the shores of Lake and a main Catholic pilgrimage center. Visit to its church and the famous "Virgen Morena". It was an important area in pre-Colombian times and entrance to this sacred land.

Trip by boat crossing the Lake to the Island of the Sun (1 hour) until Huacani to have an Aptapi (typical lunch in the highlands), then continue by boat to Yumani for visiting the stairs with the Water of the Eternal Youth, this trip continue by boat up till to the ruins of Pilkokaina Inca temple, then, boat back to Copacabana (1 hour) and private transportation to La Paz (3 ½ hours).

Take the boat back to Copacabana (1 hour) and then private transportation to La Paz (3.5 hours).
