Itinerary
Day 1: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - Santa Maria.
This morning we will take a sightseeing tour of Los Angeles. We stop at Grauman's Chinese Theater and the Hollywood Walk of Fame and then to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. We continue north to the charming Spanish-style coastal city of Santa Barbara for a short stop. Continue to Solvang, the Danish capital of America “Velkommen”. Everything in the Danish atmosphere, windmills, quiet streets, horse drawn carriages, Danish bakeries and authentic Danish costumes worn by some shop keepers. Overnight in Santa Maria.
Day 2: Santa Maria - Carmel – 17 Mile Drive - Monterey - San Francisco.
Travel north to Carmel-by-the-Sea, a town known for its former Mayor, Clint Eastwood. Drive along the California Coast on the 17 Mile Drive. This is of the most scenic drives in the United States. You will see striking vistas of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful beaches, golf courses, and numerous mansions. After a stop in Monterey, continue north and we'll end our day and overnight in San Francisco area.
Day 3: San Francisco.
San Francisco is a unique and breathtaking metropolis. On our morning sightseeing tour of this beautiful city we pass Union Square, Chinatown, the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf. This afternoon is at leisure to discover the variety of sites, shops, and restaurants that reflect the City's great ethnic and cultural diversity. Overnight San Francisco area.
Day 4: San Francisco - Yosemite - Fresno.
We travel to Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada, with spectacular panoramas and mountain vistas. Highlights of the park include Yosemite Valley, its high cliffs and waterfalls and the Mariposa Grove, which contains hundreds of ancient giant sequoias, the world's largest living things. The area was home to American Indians for as long as 8,000 years. Overnight Fresno/Bakersfield.
Day 5: Fresno - Calico Ghost Town - Las Vegas.
Today travel south through the great farmlands of the fertile San Joaquin Valley. It is the state's top agricultural producing region, sometimes called "the nation's salad bowl" for the great array of fruits and vegetables grown in its fertile soil. We leave California and travel to Las Vegas, Nevada. Overnight Las Vegas.
Day 6: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Flagstaff.
Leave the glitter of Las Vegas behind and we head to Arizona, “the Grand Canyon State". It is the World's Seventh Natural Wonder. Carved over millennia through the rocks of the Colorado Plateau, it is more than an awe-inspiring view. By arrival to the Grand Canyon Village, we will have free time to enjoy the scenic canyon views. Overnight Grand Canyon National Park Area Accommodations or Flagstaff, AZ.
Day 7: Flagstaff - Monument Valley - Page.
Travel through the Painted Desert, crossing the largest Navajo Indian Reservation. Continue to the Arizona/Utah border and arrive at Monument Valley. We will enjoy a local sightseeing tour with a native Navajo Indian guide. Overnight in Page.
Day 8: Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon.
This morning cross Glen Canyon Dam, the last of the major dams built on the Colorado River. View Lake Powell from the lookout point. It is the second largest man-made lake in the United States. We cross back to enter the Mormon State of Utah, to Bryce Canyon National Park. View thousands of delicately carved spires that rise in brilliant colors of red, yellow and orange, from the amphitheaters, along with towering cliffs, and rainbow-striped rock formations. Overnight Bryce Canyon Area.
Day 9: Bryce Canyon - Zion National Park - Las Vegas.
We travel south towards Zion National Park. The dramatic white, pink and red rocks of the sculptured canyon and soaring cliffs, is a creation of the Virgin River thousands of years ago. After our visit, we continue to Las Vegas to end the Tour.

Get America Tours reserves the right to change the hotel to another of equal or better standard than the hotel mentioned in the itineraries.
It is customary to tip the guide $5 per person per day and $5 to the driver. When it is a driver/guide the recommended tip should be $10 per person per day.
Participant restrictions
Child rate applies to children 2-16 years traveling with two adults in the same room.
Some tours are not suitable for passengers which require wheelchairs and other disabilities.
We cannot guarantee hotel rooms for the handicapped.
Passengers with special needs, medical conditions and disabilities must advise Get America Tours when making their reservation.
Policies
Cancellation: 30 days prior 50% penalty, 14 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.
Due to space limits your baggage allowance is 1 suitcase and 1 handbag. The suitcase dimensions should not exceed 30" x 21" x 11" and weight not exceeding 50 pounds (22 Kilos). Carry on bags should not exceed 12" x 11" x 6".
