Itinerary

Day 1: New York – Niagara Falls.

Depart New York and travel northwest through the beautiful Mountains and across scenic upstate New York. Experience the state's diverse ethnic heritage and the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes, one of the country's premier wine producing areas, before reaching today's highlight, Niagara Falls. At night enjoy the view of the massive illuminated waterfalls.

Day 2: Niagara Falls – Toronto – 1,000 Islands.

This morning we'll enjoy breathtaking views of the fall. We will take a cruise on Niagara River, aboard the Maid of the Mist for amazing close-ups at the base of the thundering waterfalls (seasonally). Then continue to Toronto, Canada's cosmopolitan city on the shores of Lake Ontario. Upon arrival see the historic and modern municipal buildings, the Parliament and colorful Chinatown. Stop at the world-renown Eaton Center, home to over 350 shops and services all under one roof. We will continue to the 1,000 Island Region for your overnight.

Day 3: 1,000 Islands – New York.

This morning enjoy a cruise among the fabled 1,000 Islands in the St. Lawrence River. After the cruise we will cross the bridge back to the United States. Continue south through central New York state to the “Borscht Belt” or the Catskill Mountains. This was the vacation and entertainment center for the Jewish community living in NYC. until the 1970's. Actors, comedians, musicians like Woody Allen, Mel Brooks, Billy Crystal, Jerry Lewis, Barbara Streisand and many more, used to entertain the audiences. Continue south through upstate New York through the picturesque countryside to New Jersey for overnight.

Day 4: Washington D.C.

We'll travel south to Washington through New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Upon arrival we'll visit the Air & Space Museum where hundreds of artifacts of aviation and space exploration can be found. See the Mall and the US Capitol where elected Senators and representatives meet to shape US legislative policy. We'll continue passing the Washington and Jefferson's monuments and we'll stop to visit Lincoln, Vietnam and the Korean War memorials. We will end the day with a stop to view the White House, home to the American Presidents. Overnight Washington DC area.

Participant restrictions

Tour members who are between 2 and 16 years and traveling with two adults in the same room receive a child discount on the tour price.

Passengers with Disabilities: Get America Tours makes all efforts to accommodate all passengers, including those with disabilities. Some tours are not suitable for passengers which require wheelchairs and other disabilities.

We cannot guarantee hotel rooms for the handicapped.

Cancellation: 30 days prior 50% penalty, 14 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

Passport required. Some nationalities may need multiple entry visas to the U.S.A. and a Canadian visa.

Travel Documents are the sole responsibility of the passengers. Get America Tours will not be held responsible for any damages or additional expenses incurred for lack of improper travel documentation.

No baggage handling is included. Due to space limits your baggage allowance is 1 suitcase and 1 handbag. The suitcase dimensions should not exceed 30" x 21" x 11" and weight not exceeding 50 pounds (22 Kilos). Carry-on bags should not exceed 12" x 11" x 6".
