ESCORTED BUS TOUR - Depart from Los Angeles, California. Visits to Santa Barbara and Solvang, the Danish capital of America “Velkommen". Drive along the California Coast on the 17 Mile Drive and to San Francisco, "The City by the Bay". Travel to Yosemite National Park with its high cliffs and waterfalls, Mariposa Grove, and ancient giant sequoias. We end our tour in Las Vegas, Nevada "the entertainment capital of the world".

Returns to: Bally's Hotel and Casino, North Entrance Door, 3645 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas Nevada at approximately 6:00pm.

Itinerary

Day 1: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - Santa Maria.

This morning we will take a sightseeing tour of Los Angeles. We'll stop at Grauman's Chinese Theater and the Hollywood Walk of Fame and then to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. We'll continue north to the charming Spanish-style coastal city of Santa Barbara for a short stop. Continue to Solvang, the Danish capital of America “Velkommen". Everything in the Danish atmosphere, windmills, quiet streets, horse drawn carriages, Danish bakeries and authentic Danish costumes worn by some shop keepers. Overnight in Santa Maria.

Day 2: Santa Maria - Carmel – 17 Mile Drive - Monterey - San Francisco.

Travel north to Carmel-by-the-Sea, a town known for its former Mayor, Clint Eastwood. Drive along the California Coast on the 17 Mile Drive. This is of the most scenic drives in the United States. You will see striking vistas of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful beaches, golf courses, and numerous mansions. After a stop in Monterey, continue north and we'll end our day on our arrival to the hotel in San Francisco area. Overnight San Francisco area.

Day 3: San Francisco.

San Francisco is a unique and breathtaking metropolis. On our morning sightseeing tour of this beautiful city we'll pass Union Square, Chinatown, the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf. This afternoon is at leisure to discover the variety of sites, shops, and restaurants that reflect the City's great ethnic and cultural diversity. Overnight in San Francisco area.

Day 4: San Francisco - Yosemite - Fresno.

We travel to Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada, with spectacular panoramas and mountain vistas. Highlights of the park include Yosemite Valley, its high cliffs and waterfalls and the Mariposa Grove, which contains hundreds of ancient giant sequoias, the world's largest living things. The area was home to American Indians for as long as 8,000 years. Overnight Fresno/Bakersfield.

Day 5: Fresno - Calico Ghost Town - Las Vegas.

Today travel south through the great farmlands of the fertile San Joaquin Valley. It is the state's top agricultural producing region, sometimes called "the nation's salad bowl" for the great array of fruits and vegetables grown in its fertile soil. Calico Ghost Town will carry us back in time to an authentic silver mining town of the Old West. Carefully reconstructed to recreate the spirit of Calico's Old West past. Walk the streets and examine the lives of the period miners and townspeople. We leave California and travel to Las Vegas, Nevada “the entertainment capital of the world".

Our hotels are of superior tourist class or first class. Get America Tours reserves the right to change the hotel to another of equal or better standard than the hotel mentioned in the itineraries.

Triple and Quad rooms are based on the existing bedding in a room which is 2 double beds.

It is customary to tip the guide $5.00 per passenger per day and $5.00 the driver. When it is a driver/guide the recommended tip should be $10.00 per passenger per day.

Participant restrictions

Child rate applies to children 2-16 years traveling with two adults in the same room.

Passengers with Disabilities:

Cancellation: 30 days prior 50% penalty, 14 days prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

Due to space limits your baggage allowance is 1 suitcase and 1 handbag. The suitcase dimensions maximum 30" x 21" x 11", weight maximum 50 pounds. Carry-on bags maximum 12" x 11" x 6".
