This two-day trip that will allow you to see some of the most awe-inspiring attractions in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia from the comfort of an air-conditioned bus or van. A knowledgeable and friendly tour guide will describe the unique history of various sites so that you can learn fascinating tidbits about each area.

Itinerary

Day 1: NEW YORK – PHILADELPHIA – WASHINGTON DC.

Departure from New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the city of brotherly love - Philadelphia. Arrival in the historic area of Philadelphia, visit famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, Constitution Square and Congress Hall. Stroll through Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.

Panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the financial district, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia and famous “Rocky Steps”. Departure from Philadelphia north to Lancaster County, home of the Amish people. Ride on an authentic Amish buggy through the Amish farm country, then visit Amish marketplace where guests can shop for handmade arts, crafts and products. Departure for DC; overnight at: Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Washington DC.

Day 2: WASHINGTON DC – AMISH COUNTRY – NEW YORK.

Tour starts with a visit to the Lincoln, Washington, Korean and Vietnam Memorials; continues to the Arlington National Cemetery to see the changing of the guards and the Kennedy family grave site. Next customers will visit the Mint and learn how the US tries to keep the US Dollar safe from counterfeiters (Philadelphia US Mint only on Saturday’s departure).

Continue to the Air and Space Museum; view the Capitol, Senate and White House - the core of the US government. Late afternoon departure for an evening arrival in New York.
