A visit to the Strong museum is not complete without a stop at Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden, the only year-round indoor butterfly garden in upstate New York. Walk among more than 1,000 brilliantly colored, free-flying tropical and native butterflies and be sure to visit the chrysalis case to see emerging butterflies. Then explore America’s cultural history and play all day at the only collections-based museum in the world devoted to the study and exploration of play.

Plus Ticket experience includes step on guide for museum orientation and history, butterfly garden admission, 5 game tokens, and a 10% discount to the museum shop.

General admission ticket does NOT include admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden, Plus ticket must be purchased.

Participant restrictions

Children under the age of 2 are admitted Free of charge.

All children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Policies

For guests with the General Admission Plus ticket, the admissions desk will sign them up for a 20-minute time slot when they arrive and check in with their voucher.
