Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is located in the heart of downtown Toronto and is this city's most exciting attraction! Canada’s largest indoor aquarium is a thrilling underwater adventure for everyone.

The Aquarium features North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel with more than 5.7 million liters of water and over 100 interactive opportunities. Get up close and personal with three touch exhibits featuring horseshoe crabs, sharks, and rays as well as daily dive shows every 2 hours. This awe-inspiring attraction consists of nine carefully curated galleries showcasing a cross section of saltwater and freshwater environments from around the world.

Canadian Waters Gallery: Have you ever wondered what lurks beneath the surface of the Great Lakes? Explore 17 habitats that spotlight the diversity of Canada's treasures.

Rainbow Reef: Be swept away to an inviting oasis at Rainbow Reef! An explosion of color mesmerizes in this vibrant collection of tropical fish.

Dangerous Lagoon: An exhilarating experience you will never forget! Begin in an underwater tunnel weaving through the gallery to see the home of many different species of sharks.

Discovery Centre: Pop into the underwater viewing bubbles to get a closer look at our Pufferfish and Clownfish and be sure to touch a "living fossil in the Horseshoe Crab touch pool. While in the Discovery Centre - enjoy a quick bite to eat at Ripley's Café.

Ray Bay: Watch with wonder as the graceful stingrays glide through the water in Ray Bay. Experience a live dive show which will give you a glimpse into their world.

Planet Jellies: With eight different tanks featuring jellies surrounding you on all side, this transfixing gallery will mesmerize and delight with its color-changing displays.

*NEW* SWARM: Nature by Numbers. Come face-to-face with Halloween Crabs and enjoy the calming view of Blue Blubber Jellyfish. From Flashlight Fish to Coral Catfish, there are over 1,000 new creatures to meet when you explore our new SWARM Exhibit!

Hours of operation

Available daily, 365 days a year, 9:00am - 11:00pm however we do at times close at 6:00pm for private events. Peak hours typically occur between 10:00am - 2:00pm.

Duration

Guests should allow 1.5 - 3 hours for their visit. Self-guided tours take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
