Itinerary

At 9.30am, our friendly driver will be at your hotel lobby to journey to Mari Mari Cultural Village, located at a remote forest setting, giving you a sense of The Lost World concept. Journey is roughly half an hour away from city center. Upon arrival, you will be ushered to the warmth of various traditional homes of Sabah ethnic communities such as the Bajau, Dusun, Kadazan, Lundayeh, Murut, and Rungus;- built by descendants of the tribes respectively. In-house guide will give you a briefing of the do’s and don't's before stepping into the lost world of Sabah’s culture.

Welcoming ceremony by the Murut Tribe Chief. Enjoy a guided tour of each traditional house and learn about the history, bamboo cooking demonstration, fire making demonstration, blowpipe demonstration, and traditional dances in a remote forest setting. After the performance, you will be led to the Dining Hall. Buy trinkets as a memorabilia back home, take photos, or just enjoy the natural surroundings. Enjoy lunch while trying Sabahan traditional delicacies from different ethnic groups in Sabah. Time to bid farewell.
