Explore the secrets of the lush tropical beauty of Maui's Hana coast. You will travel through the old sugar mill town of Paia and along the magnificent coastline past world famous windsurfing beaches. Travel on to Kaumahina State Park and view the historic village of Keanae from the peninsula lookout, Pua`a Ka`a, Waianapanapa State Parks and Wailua Falls. Your journey continues over the one lane bridges and hairpin turns of the famous road to Hana and Hasegawa General Store. Your professional guide will escort you to Kipahulu where you will discover Ohe`o Stream and Pools and stop for a refreshing swim (weather and time permitting). The tour also includes a stop at Keokea Park or Harold Rice Park in quaint Kula effective immediately. Both parks offer scenic views of Maui and are a welcome rest stop. Throughout this magical tour you will discover cascading waterfalls, lush rainforest and fantastic views, experience the hidden side of Maui. Bring your camera to capture the sites on this Hawaiian tour, you won't want to forget one detail! Please bring your own towel for swimming at Ohe`o.

Inclusion

Guests will enjoy a delicious farm-fresh lunch at Hana Fresh beginning April 11, 2017. Gold tour guests will choose from three selections: 1. Turkey and Ham Sandwich, 2. Oriental Chicken Salad (gluten free), 3. Veggie Wrap (vegan and vegetarian). Potato salad, pineapple slice, banana bread slice or fresh fruit salad, ice tea, water and hot coffee is included with each main course selection.

Hours of operation

Available daily leaving Maui at 7:00-8:00am. Maui Hotel Pickups begin at 4:30am (allow 15-20 minutes wait time at pickup).

Hotel pick up is provided from Kapalua, Kahana, Honokawai, Kaanapali, Lahaina, Maalaea, Makena, Wailea, Kihei, and Kahului (Selected hotels only).

Gray Line Hawaii/Polynesian Adventure is not permitted to pick up in residential areas or at Bed and Breakfast establishments.

Additional Information

Special note: Bring swimsuit & towel for swimming at Ohe’o Pools (weather permitting).

**The Oheo stream in the Kipahulu District of Haleakala Park is closed until further notice due to the theft of stream monitoring equipment. Per park safety policy, the stream must be closed whenever the equipment is not functional. The Tour will continue to visit the Pools of Oheo during the closure for viewing but until the Haleakala National Park reopens the stream, guests are unable to swim in the pools.

If this tour is canceled with more than 24 hours’ notice, the total amount less 10% is refunded.

Gray Line Hawaii/Polynesian Adventure is not permitted to pick up in residential areas or at Bed and Breakfast establishments.

Guest is required to call 24 hours prior to tour to re-confirm your pick up time and place.

Cancellation: 1 day prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.
