New York in a Day: Enjoy a full day completely guided tour and see and learn about the most important sights in New York. Take a tour of Central Park, and see Strawberry Fields, Columbus Circle, and Lincoln Center. You will learn about the building where John Lennon lived and died: the Dakota. You will make a brief stopover at St. John the Divine, the largest cathedral in New York, visit Grant’s Tomb and drive through the famous neighborhood of Harlem. Driving along the East Side, you will view Museum Mile, Fifth Avenue (known for its high end shopping and museums), St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Park, and the iconic Flatiron Building. Heading downtown, your tour will drive through SoHo and Greenwich Village, continuing towards Ground Zero and Battery Park. Upon our return, we will stop by the impressive headquarters of the United Nations. Finally, we will head to the top of New York’s most iconic attractions: the Empire State
Building. As we ascend, you will learn about the building’s architecture and construction, and once we reach the lookout point, you will have the opportunity to take photos of unique and impressive panoramic views of the city. This complete tour is a must-see for any visitor in New York.
Washington Tour from NYC: This tour includes transportation from New York, as well as a guided tour of the city’s key sites. You’ll have plenty opportunity to take photos of the many attractions, and monuments along the way. Enjoy a walk around the Capitol grounds and take photos, or a short visit to one of the Smithsonian Museums nearby. Afterwards, we will continue walking through “the National Mall” where we will visit the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the World
War II Memorial, overlooking the Rainbow Pool. The Memorial is dedicated to the over 400,000 American citizens who died in the war. We will visit view the famous FBI and Federal Reserve as well as the Pentagon Building. After lunch, we’ll have the opportunity to see more of the city with a short visit to the Air & Space Museum and a quick stop at Arlington Cemetery to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
