Every Wednesday and Saturday night from Memorial Day through Labor Day Chicago Helicopter Experience takes to the skies and in addition to our standard tour we give you unique perspective on one of Chicago’s most cherished summer traditions.

The fireworks tour is one of our most popular experiences.

You’ll take off just south of the loop and begin by flying out over the lake to give guests a panoramic view of the city. The tours get up close and personal with The Willis, Trump, Hancock and Tribune towers.

As you bank passed Wrigley Field turn around at Montrose Harbor. You’ll pause out over the lake and take in panoramic vistas of the skyline, navy pier and the museum campus illuminated by flashes and flares of an unforgettable fireworks display.

Points of Interest: Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Mellenium Park, Willis Tower, North Avenue Beach, Lincoln Park Zoo, Wrigley Field, Navy Pier, Adler Planetarium, McCormick Place.

Available Wednesday departing at 9:15pm and Saturday departing at 10:05pm from May 26 to September 1. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour departure time.

All tours depart and land at C.H.E. Chicago Heliport – 2420 South Halsted Street, Chicago, Illinois 60608.

Additional Information

Guests will be seated with up to 6 others.

Private Tour: Guests will have the helicopter with just their party. Minimum of two passengers required.

Participant restrictions

Children must be at least 3 years of age at the time of tour to participate.

Maximum weight per passenger/per seat is 300 lbs. (approximately 136 kg). If weight limit is exceeded, tour is subject to delay or cancellation without refund.

All passengers must be in their own seats with seatbelt.

Policies

Cancellation: 1 day prior 100% penalty. No show 100% penalty.

Private Tours require a minimum of two passengers.

Valid Photo ID is required for passengers 18 years and older.

Passengers cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If safety is affected, deemed by pilot in command, passengers will not be allowed to partake in a tour and will not receive a refund for the cancellation.
