Cerro Negro Volcano

Your journey departs from Managua, heading 1.5 hours to the northwest to the town of Malpaisillos from which we’ll have access to the active volcano. Climbing to the top of the volcano is an unequaled experience reserved for those in good physical condition. Even if you don’t feel like climbing the volcano, being so close to it, you’ll enjoy great views. On a clear day, you’ll also have stunning views of the impressive Marribios volcanic chain.
