The sightseeing tour of Budapest enables you to hop-on and hop-off the buses at selected destinations all over the city. The great benefit of the hop-on, hop-off facility is that it gives you total control of your day. You can decide the places that you want to visit and how long to stay. Whenever you are ready to re-join the tour, simply board the next bus at your nearest stop! You can use the buses as much as you wish during 48 hours.

Free River Cruise - Enjoy a 1.5-hour hop on hop off Danube Cruise:

The Danube has been the main thoroughfare of Budapest for centuries. Flowing between Pest and Buda, the river offers stunning views of the city. We are therefore delighted to include a cruise along the river as part of the Big Bus Tour.

The river cruise takes you on a leisurely journey, passed the tranquil Margaret Island and delivers the best possible views of Budapest’s stunning Parliament building, the famous Chain Bridge and the Royal Palace.

The river boats have toilet facilities onboard and refreshments are available for you to purchase.

Free Night Tour - 1-hour panoramic night tour:

Enjoy the city’s evening ambiance, and see Budapest’s famous buildings, beautifully illuminated. It is a once round trip and it is not possible to hop on and off. The Night Tour operates on a first come, first served basis so try to arrive in good time to secure your seat.

Pest & Castle District Walking Tours: From November - March there will be one walk per day. Ask a member of Big Bus staff for more details.

Multi-lingual Commentary:

An entertaining and informative Audioguided commentary is available in a choice of 23 languages. The commentary highlights the Budapest’s various historical landmarks and gives an overview of the city’s thrilling history.

Walking Tours: Pest Tour departs at 11:00am; Castle District Tour departs at 2:30pm.

Castle District Tour: from Szentharomsag Square.

Additional Information

Children under 5 are free with 1 paying adult per child provided they do not take up a seat.
